Karl Taylor
With over fifteen years’ experience in the photography industry, four years internationally in photojournalism and more than ten years in professional advertising and commercial photography, Karl Taylor brings a level of experience and passion that is invaluable in bringing creativity to your images. Karl’s love of the subject from his early dark-room days through to today’s digital era has not faded. It has driven his imagery to become more striking and inventive as time goes by. His company has gone from strength to strength and is commissioned for projects from some of the UK’s leading companies, with his images being published worldwide. Karl Taylor Photography is also involved in publishing, production, photography lectures and an online gallery.
Alex Wallace
Alex joined the company more than four years ago, bringing with him new ideas and a fresh perspective. After years travelling the world as a photographer in the hospitality industry, he settled into advertising photography in New Zealand. He has worked with an impressive list of clients including Toyota, M & C Saatchi and Bacardi. His eye for an image and his own love of landscape photography keep him busy inside the studio and out.
Nick Després
If we had to list all of the awards that Nick has won for his landscape work we would need to add another page to this website. Some of his most prestigious include PSA Photojournalist of the Year, Ilford Black & White Photographer of the Year and a first-place category win in the BBC Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition. Co-producer with Karl & Alex on the stunning book “Guernsey Through our Eyes”, Nick has worked freelance for Karl Taylor Photography for so long that he is now part of the furniture.
